Pedro Braz, a former student at the School of Economics and Management of the University of Porto (FEP) and co-founder of HelpMeChoose, a startup incubated at UPTEC – the Science and Technology Park of the University of Porto, is included in this year’s edition of the list of the 30 best European talents aged 30 or under. The selection was made by Forbes magazine, which honored the Portuguese entrepreneur in the finance category.

Incubated at UPTEC, HelpMeChoose develops digital products with the aim of analyzing financial services and assets at an international level, such as stockbrokers, digital banks, ETFs, among others.

HelpMeChoose was co-founded with Franklin Carneiro da Silva and has companies such as Saxo Bank, Wise and Interactive Brokers on its client list, having surpassed the one million user mark worldwide since its launch in 2021.

Born in Peso da Régua, Pedro Braz graduated in Economics from FEP, followed by a Fintech program at the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School in England.

For the young entrepreneur, this distinction is another step along a path of constant reinvention. “Being distinguished by Forbes is an honor. As a startup, we always have to reinvent ourselves and find ways to grow. Right now, we’re rethinking one of our biggest products, and we’ll be launching an improved version soon! We’re still figuring out our path, but the overall goal is to help people make better financial decisions, and to become a reference for those who want to compare financial services internationally.”
