Five new projects designed by 3 female researchers and 2 male researchers from the centers affiliated to Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences (FPCEUP), the Center for Psychology ar the University of Porto (CPUP) and the Center for Research and Intervention in Education (CIIE), and a sixth proposal prepared in partnership were approved in the Exploratory Projects in All Scientific Domains 2023 Competition.
The provisional results are part of the competition that aims to promote innovative ideas through support for 18-month projects, of an exploratory nature (PeX), in all scientific fields, promoted by FCT.
In this edition, FPCEUP achieved an approval rate of 41.7% regarding eligible proposals in coordination.
Psychology had an approval rate of 50%, regarding the eligible proposals being coordinated in this panel.
In the panel dedicated to Education Sciences, there was an approval rate of 40%, a particularly positive result that represents 36.4% of the panel’s funding. FPCEUP also stood out, reaching 1st and 2nd place in the ranking of this panel.
