Cristina Amorim, CFO of Corticeira Amorim and Vice-President of Banco BPI, was ranked second in the Industry category, while Ana Paula Marques, a member of EDP’s Executive Board, secured fourth place in the Energy category. At 55, Cristina Amorim, who holds a Bachelor in Economics degree from FEP, has built a remarkable career in corporate management and the financial sector. Currently serving as CFO of Corticeira Amorim, the global leader in the cork industry, and as Vice-President of Banco BPI, she is celebrated for her leadership and strategic vision.

Her academic and professional journey demonstrates a steadfast commitment to excellence. She joined the family business in 1994, starting in the Finance Department of Corticeira Amorim, where she has played a crucial role in the company’s sustainable growth.

Ana Paula Marques: a leading figure in the energy sector

Ana Paula Marques, aged 50, also holds a Bachelor in Economics degree from FEP and has carved out an impressive career in the highly competitive energy sector. She is currently a member of the Executive Board of EDP and holds the roles of CEO of EDP Produção e Gestão de Energia and Labelec.

Her professional background includes extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, where she held leadership positions at Procter & Gamble, Optimus, and NOS before joining EDP in 2022. Her contributions have been vital in advancing the company’s strategic growth, both domestically and internationally.

With a score of 67 in the Forbes Portugal ranking, Ana Paula Marques is recognised for her achievements in organisational leadership, corporate strategy, and innovation within the energy sector.
