On 16 May, FEP hosted the event “WHAT’S NEXT: Pathway to a Sustainable Economy”, organized by FEP Economics Society with the support of the School.

In this event, sustainability-related issues were debated, such as the energy transition, the energy sources of the future, the impact of RRP on a more sustainable Portuguese economy and the role of cities, companies and other organisations as innovation drivers in this transition.

The event was attended by experts in the field: João Silva (Sustainability & ESG at CROWE Portugal), Manuel Pina (General Manager at OTOVO), Daniel Freitas (Head of Carbon Neutrality in Porto), Marta Brenha (FEP Alumna and winner of the Porto Economy Award), Vladimiro Feliz (Director of Smart & Sustainable Living at CEiia). The moderation was in charge of Inês Durães, FEP Alumna and journalist from Porto Canal.
