The School of Economics and Management of the University of Porto (FEP) continues to stand out due to the talent and dedication of its student-athletes, who have achieved remarkable results in university sports. With victories in several disciplines, they have raised the profile of FEP and the University of Porto to the highest level.
In Men’s Beach Handball, the team made up of Simão Nitsche, Francisco Soares, Sérgio Schroiff Antunes, and Manuel Areia de Carvalho, all from FEP, won their third consecutive national university title, solidifying their dominance in the sport. In Women’s Beach Handball, Francisca Pereira, Maria João Vieira, and Sara Moutinho, also from FEP, earned the honourable title of national university runners-up, with the support of colleagues from other faculties.
In Rapid Chess, Gustavo Ribeiro (FEP) led the team to their second consecutive national university championship, showcasing strategy and talent at the highest level.
These results reflect the commitment and dedication of FEP students, who, with determination and team spirit, have brought FEP and the University of Porto to the forefront of university sports.
