On 13th April, the University of Porto will host an event that combines sport and solidarity: the Solidarity Volleyball Tournament. Organised by FEP Junior Consulting (FJC) and SUNIporto, the tournament is not only a sporting competition but also a socially-driven initiative, as the funds raised through registration fees will be fully donated to three charitable organisations, reinforcing the commitment to social responsibility.

Aligned with over five Sustainable Development Goals, this sporting event aims to promote inclusion, sports participation, and solidarity, fostering an atmosphere of unity among participants. The tournament will feature 16 mixed teams, each consisting of a minimum of six and a maximum of ten players. The competition format has been carefully designed to ensure a dynamic, interactive, and engaging experience, allowing all participants to enjoy an intense and rewarding sports competition.

Registrations are open and can be completed via this form. The first registration phase runs from 24th March to 6th April, with a cost of €30 per team. In the second phase, from 7th to 11th April, the registration fee will be €45 per team.

In addition to prizes for the winners, all participants will receive a participation certificate and a special kit as a token of appreciation for their involvement in this charitable cause.

The event will take place at the EB Irene Lisboa sports hall, located on Rua de Cervantes in Porto. FEP Junior Consulting and SUNIporto hope to receive enthusiastic support from the academic community, generating a positive impact by combining sport and solidarity.
