The Susplus project, developed by students from the School of Economics and Management of the University of Porto (FEP) and the School of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP), secured 2nd place in the 4th edition of the BluAct competition. The initiative aims to provide an innovative solution for managing the climate impact of businesses, promoting more sustainable practices within the context of the blue economy.

André Campos, a PhD student in Business and Management Studies at FEP and one of the founders of Susplus, emphasised the significance of this recognition for the development of the solution, which aims to help businesses reduce their environmental footprint and contribute to a more sustainable future.

BluAct is an initiative of the Matosinhos City Council, supported by UPTEC – Science and Technology Park of the University of Porto, with the goal of awarding the best business ideas in the field of the blue economy.
