FEP hosted an international delegation associated with the ‘ModESPar – Modernisation of Higher Education in Paraguay’ project. This visit, which was supported by FEUP’s Academic Funding and Cooperation Unit and the Rector’s Office, brought important representatives of Paraguayan and European higher education to the School.
The delegation was made up of prominent authorities and institutional representatives, including Luis Alberto Lima, Rector of the Universidad del Cono Sur de las Américas; Hermenegildo Cohene, Rector of the Universidad Nacional de Itapúa; Federico Mora, Vice-Minister of Higher Education; Andrés Villalba, Vice-Rector of the Universidad del Cono Sur de las Américas; Eduardo Velazquez, Vice-Rector of the Universidad Iberoamericana; and Ariel Bado, Director General of Educational Research, among others.
The visit to FEP was led by the School’s Deputy Director, Paulo Vasconcelos, who accompanied the delegation and showed the FEP Innovation Hub, an innovative space equipped with flexible furniture and state-of-the-art technology designed to support any type of class, which represents a significant step towards promoting an environment of continuous innovation.
The visit highlighted FEP’s role as a centre of excellence in educational innovation and its ability to attract and collaborate with prestigious international institutions to develop new methodologies and strategies in higher education.
