On October 28 and 29, FEP hosted the third edition of Growing Minds With Alumni, an initiative that offers students valuable extracurricular training opportunities. This programme, recognized under Pro-Skills, allows the development of transversal skills and complementary knowledge, which are crucial for entering the job market.
The event began with a workshop on corporate social responsibility, led by Sónia Branco, from Galp. The programme also included a session on leadership and team management, led by José Miguel Marques, Chairman of the Board of Carregosa-SGOIC and a workshop dedicated to demystifying the insurance sector, presented by Mónica Sequeira, Commercial Manager at F. REGO.
On the second day, the students had the opportunity to learn about presenting projects to CEOs, with João Pedro Reis from Sogrape, and about Artificial Intelligence, with Maria Clara Jorge from NOS. Each workshop covered current topics, giving students practical tools to face the challenges of the professional world.
Growing Minds With Alumni stands out for its ability to connect students and alumni, who share experiences. This interaction not only enriches the training, but also expands the students’ network of professional contacts, which is fundamental to their growth.
More than just a learning opportunity, Growing Minds With Alumni is a celebration of the FEP community, where knowledge and experiences intertwine, effectively preparing students for the future.
