The end of 2024 was marked by significant achievements for the students of the School of Economics and Management of the University of Porto (FEP) at the National University Racket Championships. FEP athletes demonstrated their talent and dedication, excelling in the Table Tennis and Padel competitions.

José Magalhães and Pedro Moreira, both from FEP, teamed up with Gonçalo Gomes from the School of Sports at the University of Porto (FADEUP) to win the gold medal in the men’s Table Tennis competition, claiming the top spot on the podium.

In Padel, Inês Lima, also from FEP, partnered with Benedita Terroso from the Institute of Biomedical Sciences of Abel Salazar (ICBAS), and together they secured the silver medal in the women’s Padel doubles competition.

Additionally, Manuel Bragança, from FEP, and Cláudio Almeida, from the School of Engineering at the University of Porto (FEUP), earned the bronze medal in the men’s Padel doubles competition.

These results reflect the hard work and passion for sport that define FEP students, who continue to make a difference both academically and in sporting competitions.
