The presentation of the project developed by students from Conservatório de Música do Porto, a partner institution of FEP under the 2022/2023 edition of the SEI project, took place on 18 May.
The work “Cross notes: Collection, analysis and characterization of data on music composers” allowed the development of the economic and statistical literacy of the students and involved the collection, processing and analysis of data about music composers.
The students were accompanied throughout the project by FEP Professors Diogo Lourenço, Fernanda Figueiredo and Pedro Campos.
The SEI Project (Society, School and Research) is an annual project promoted by Porto City Hall with the main goal of contributing to scientific literacy. FEP has participated in the project since its foundation in 2015.
