FEP was represented by nine students, accompanied by professors Fábio Duarte and Bruno Veloso. The course began with online sessions, including a lecture by Professor Bruno Veloso on the history of blockchain and the reasons for its existence in the modern world, and culminated in an in-person meeting in Madrid, where topics such as the evaluation of cryptoassets were discussed, with a keynote lecture by Professor Fábio Duarte.

During the event, participants deepened their knowledge through various lectures and workshops, including a presentation on the evolution of blockchain by Fernando Monléon from ESIC, and a session on the Metaverse led by Mike Russel from AUAS.

In addition, practical activities were carried out, such as avatar creation in the metaverse, led by ESIC, and the development of business ideas, where students applied the knowledge they had acquired on emerging technologies.

FEP students, together with their peers from partner institutions, actively contributed to the success of the event, which concluded with the presentation of innovative ideas on the future of finance, using cryptoassets, NFTs, and other related technologies.
