The School of Economics and Management of the University of Porto (FEP) hosted the Alumni Careers event on 19 November, a moment dedicated to the exchange of experiences and career guidance. The initiative brought together six FEP Alumni, who took part in speed talk sessions to share their professional journeys and insights into the job market.
Students had the opportunity to deepen their understanding of various areas of economics and management, explore career alternatives, and clarify doubts regarding recruitment, career shifts, and professional challenges. The Alumni present, João Fonte (Deloitte), José Torrão Pinheiro (Uber Eats), Mariana Vilas (Deloitte), Paulo Nogueira (PwC), Sofia Ganchas (Deloitte), and Sofia Serrano (Smartex.ai), offered a diverse and enriching perspective on their experiences.
This event underscores FEP’s commitment to bridging generations and fostering networking between students and Alumni, creating an environment that promotes continuous learning and skill development for the job market.
