FEP hosted another edition of the Volunteering Fair on November 4, in the main atrium of the School. The event, organized by the FEP Students’ Association (AEFEP), in partnership with FEP, brought together more than 20 volunteer organizations, both national and international, providing students and other members of the academic community with a unique opportunity to learn about various causes and explore possibilities for involvement.
With a dynamic and interactive format, the fair included presentation stands, where participants could talk directly to representatives of the organizations and learn more about their different areas of activity. The initiative highlighted causes ranging from supporting vulnerable populations to promoting education and sustainable development.
In an effort to make the event greener and more conscious, AEFEP implemented various sustainability measures, encouraging the use of digital media to disseminate information, recycling points and the use of reusable bottles. In addition, the organization promoted the use of public transport, in line with its mission to make young people aware of the importance of sustainable practices in volunteering and everyday life.
The list of entities present included organizations such as Banco Alimentar Contra a Fome, Já T’Explico, Semear Futuro, Stand4Good and Re-food Gaia Centro, among others, allowing for a diverse range of options for all those who wish to contribute to a fairer and more supportive world. The FEP Volunteering Fair is an essential platform for strengthening the spirit of solidarity and social responsibility among the academic community.
