The Students Association of the School of Economics and Management of University of Porto (AEFEP) became last 28th April national university champion in men’s 11-a-side football, for the first time in its history.
In the decisive game of the Finals of the National University Championships 2023, the FEP students faced and defeated the Students Association of Instituto Superior Técnico by 1-0, thus making the party on the lawn of the Estádio Municipal Manuela Machado and opposing the AEFEP.
Besides AEFEP’s historical victory, the participation of U.Porto in the male football competition was also marked by the bronze medal conquered by the Students Association of the School of Engineering (AEFEUP). A result guaranteed after the victory, by 4-1, against the Students Association of the Faculty of Economics of Nova University (AEFEUNL), in the third and fourth places game.
